The Garden Festival announce 2010 details

RA are proud to announce the exclusive details of next year's Garden Festival in Croatia.

Held in the majestic coastal town of Petrcane, the event has become one of the most successful ventures on the Croatian festival circuit, last year extending its duration to cover two weekends. The same will apply to 2010, stretching from July 2-11, and featuring many of the acts that made their previous incarnations such a favourite with house and disco fans. Crazy P, Greg Wilson, Mark E and Todd Terje will all be making the most of the beautiful scenery and baking sunshine with plenty of disco delights, while the house side of things will be looked after by the Innervisions crew (Henrik Schwarz, Dixon and Âme will all DJ, with an additional live set by Henrik) as well as Sub Club residents Harri and Dominic.

Domu will bring his eclectic vibes along and Ninja Tune's Bonobo will offer some downtempo beats, but one of the festival's real coups is the appearance of The Arthur Russell Tribute Project. Faze Action and Yam Who? will team up to perform some of the legendary New York musician's tracks live under their Killer Whale moniker, which should no doubt be an exciting prospect for those who have bought any of the recent Russell tribute 12-inches on the Electric Minds label.

And of course there's also the promise of yet another RA boat party setting sail. The line-up for that—and many other parties during the week—will soon be announced.

Sebo K and Seth Troxler headline RA at Garden Festival

Sebo K and Seth Troxler will headline RA's boat party during next year's Garden Festival in Petrcane.

Sebo K may have had a relatively quiet year, but he's still managed to have one of the tracks of the summer with the rolling deep house of "Saxtrack," while our contributors saw fit to give his Watergate 04 mix the #11 slot in our compilations round-up of '09. Combining US deep house from Mood II Swing, Rick Wade, Patrice Scott with European minimal house and a few of his own special edits, Sebo certainly showed that he's still got his finger on the pulse, no matter how long he's had his head in the books.

Seth Troxler is another young gun who's had a stellar year, with RA readers catapulting the charismatic Michigan man into the number eight spot in our 2009 DJs poll. His enthusiasm behind the decks goes some way in explaining his placing, and you can be sure that he'll be bringing some of that party spirit along when he boards the good ship RA during the second Garden Festival weekend.

The guys at Garden have also made quite a few additions to next year's line-up, with Metro Area, Pete Herbert, and The Revenge now booked in to offer their sunkissed disco selections at the festival. Jimpster and Shur-i-kan will headline a showcase for the Freerange imprint, Dissident's Andy Blake will appear, Tensnake performs live, while man of the moment Floating Points caps off the latest batch of new acts. Get on the boat with RA at Garden Festival

Heading in the direction of The Garden Festival this July? You might want to pack your eye-patch and parrot, as RA are pleased to announce details of our first European boat party.

Taking place this year as a "double whammy" across two weekends between July 3-12, this year's Garden Festival in Petrcane is shaping up as one of the festival experiences of the summer with 2000 punters set to enjoy a plethora of parties set against the idyllic backdrop of coastal Croatia. Captaining our vessel will be NYC party starters Rub N Tug, who will be on board with a plentiful bounty of shimmering house and disco. As the week will be awash with DJing talent, expect other friends of RA to muck in with the music, but you'll have to be there to find out exactly who, as we're not going to ruin the surprise just yet...

Although we are taking the voyage as an opportunity to thank the artists, staff and press who helped put together the festival, there will be 100 tickets available for RA readers who fancy the idea of some sunny fun on the high seas. The boat will depart from Petrcane port at around 4pm and will cruise the stunning Adriatic coast, anchoring upon isolated islands for some deserted beach party action, before Rub N Tug bring it on home as the sun sets on the journey back to port.

Don't forget our party is just one of the many highlights across the festival's two week duration: Faze Action, Lindstrom, Âme, Dixon, Disco Bloodbath, Gilles Peterson, Greg Wilson and Prins Thomas will all be making their way to Petrcane for Garden's festivities.

Nesh ti, ako gledaju cijene po engleskoj shemi,onda je upad stvarno pizdarija..a i kad pogledas njihov nacin selekcije, koji vec godinama pali, onda je to ok..
Kad bi se i mi puno puta mogli selektirati za tako nesto, vjerujem da bi svi platili 50kn vise..sto je njima 5kn..otprilike..

Da, odlican je garden, ko voli, prejebeno..laganica, popit koju pivu na brodu, neku crnkinju zbarit ili komotno rec liku da je Arsenal sranje a da te nece sakom pogodit u glavu, jer mu se jebe za nogomet,, doso lik ovdje isto zasto i ti..
Takodjer mislim da nece dugo zracit istim duhom, jos godinu, dvije, tri..i onda, komercijala..sto se nadam da se nece desiti..
Ja sam, uglavnom, tamo opet..
